Chocolate Molten Lava Cake
Ingredients
- 11 cup All-purpose flour(120g)
- 21 cup Granulated sugar(200g)
- 30.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder(50g)
- 42 teaspoon Baking powder(8g)
- 50.25 teaspoon Salt(1.5g)
- 60.5 cup Milk(120g)
- 70.25 cup Unsalted butter, melted(57g)
- 81 teaspoon Vanilla extract(4g)
- 91 cup Chocolate chips(170g)
- 100.75 cup Brown sugar(150g)
- 111.5 cup Hot water(355g)
Instructions
- 1Grease the inside of the crockpot with butter or non-stick spray.
- 2In a bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- 3Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- 4Spread the batter evenly in the bottom of the crockpot.
- 5Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter.
- 6In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining cocoa powder, then sprinkle over the batter and chocolate chips.
- 7Pour hot water evenly over the top. Do not stir.
- 8Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the cake is set but the center is still gooey.
- 9Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
