Ingredients

  • 11 cup All-purpose flour(120g)
  • 21 cup Granulated sugar(200g)
  • 30.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder(50g)
  • 42 teaspoon Baking powder(8g)
  • 50.25 teaspoon Salt(1.5g)
  • 60.5 cup Milk(120g)
  • 70.25 cup Unsalted butter, melted(57g)
  • 81 teaspoon Vanilla extract(4g)
  • 91 cup Chocolate chips(170g)
  • 100.75 cup Brown sugar(150g)
  • 111.5 cup Hot water(355g)

Instructions

  1. 1Grease the inside of the crockpot with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. 3Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. 4Spread the batter evenly in the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. 5Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter.
  6. 6In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining cocoa powder, then sprinkle over the batter and chocolate chips.
  7. 7Pour hot water evenly over the top. Do not stir.
  8. 8Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the cake is set but the center is still gooey.
  9. 9Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
