Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, mix the sourdough starter, water, and sugar until combined.
- 2Add the flour and salt, then knead until a smooth dough forms.
- 3Cover and let the dough rise for 4-6 hours or until doubled in size.
- 4Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a bagel.
- 5Let the shaped bagels rest for 30 minutes.
- 6Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 7Boil each bagel in water for 1 minute per side.
- 8Place boiled bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- 9Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- 10Cool before serving.
