Dakdoritang (Korean Spicy Braised Chicken)
Ingredients
- 13 lb chicken(1360g)
- 22 carrot(140g)
- 32 potato(300g)
- 41 onion(150g)
- 50.5 cup soy sauce(120g)
- 60.33 cup gochujang(100g)
- 72 tablespoon sugar(25g)
- 82 tablespoon gochugaru(12g)
- 92 tablespoon minced garlic(18g)
- 100.5 cup bone broth(120g)
- 112 green onion(30g)
- 121 tablespoon sesame seeds(9g)
- 134 cup rice(740g)
Instructions
- 1Wash, peel, and cut the carrots, potatoes, and onion into large chunks.
- 2Add the chicken pieces and prepared vegetables to the pressure cooker.
- 3In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, sugar, gochugaru, minced garlic, and bone broth to make the sauce.
- 4Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Lightly mix to coat everything evenly.
- 5Pressure cook on high for 12 minutes, then perform a quick release.
- 6Optional: Simmer for an additional 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- 7Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- 8Serve hot with freshly cooked rice.
