Ingredients

  • 1600 g lean ground beef(600g)
  • 22 teaspoon salt(12g)
  • 32 teaspoon black pepper(4g)
  • 46 slice light cheese slices(120g)
  • 53 bun brioche buns(180g)
  • 61 large onion(150g)
  • 72 second spray cooking spray(2g)
  • 82 teaspoon balsamic vinegar(10g)
  • 91 teaspoon Stevia In The Raw(4g)
  • 102 tablespoon light mayonnaise(30g)
  • 112 tablespoon reduced-sugar ketchup(30g)
  • 121 teaspoon mustard(5g)
  • 131 teaspoon honey(7g)
  • 142 tablespoon chives(6g)

Instructions

  1. 1Slice the onion. In a pan over medium-low heat, spray with cooking spray and add sliced onion and a pinch of salt. Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
  2. 2Add balsamic vinegar and Stevia to the onions. Continue cooking until onions are golden and sweet. Set aside.
  3. 3In a bowl, mix together light mayonnaise, reduced-sugar ketchup, mustard, honey, chopped chives, and a pinch of black pepper to make the secret sauce. Set aside.
  4. 4Divide the ground beef into 6 equal balls. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. 5Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add beef balls, cover each with parchment paper and press flat with a cup to form patties.
  6. 6Cook patties for 2–3 minutes until crispy on the bottom. Flip, add a slice of cheese to each, and let melt.
  7. 7Slice the brioche buns in half and turn them inside out. Toast in the pan until golden and buttery.
  8. 8To assemble, spread secret sauce on the bottom bun, add two cheesy patties, top with caramelized onions, more sauce, and the top bun. Press gently and serve.
