Simple Chocolate Yule Log
Ingredients
- 14 eggs(240g)
- 250 g sugar(50g)
- 360 ml oil(55g)
- 460 ml milk(62g)
- 580 g flour(80g)
- 620 g unsweetened cocoa(20g)
- 7150 g white chocolate ganache(150g)
Instructions
- 1Separate the egg whites from the yolks of 4 eggs.
- 2Whip the egg whites with 50g of sugar to make a small meringue.
- 3Add 60ml of oil and 60ml of milk to the egg yolks.
- 4Incorporate 80g of flour and 20g of unsweetened cocoa.
- 5Gently fold in the meringue into the mixture.
- 6Pour the batter into a baking tray.
- 7Bake at 165°C for 8 minutes.
- 8Remove the cake and let it cool slightly before filling.
- 9Fill the log with desired filling and roll it up.
- 10Place it in the freezer or fridge to set.
- 11Prepare the glaze and cover the log.
- 12Decorate with white chocolate ganache using a piping bag.
