Ingredients

  • 11.33 cup warm water(320g)
  • 22.25 teaspoon instant active dry yeast(7g)
  • 32 teaspoon sugar(8g)
  • 40.5 teaspoon salt(3g)
  • 52 tablespoon olive oil(27g)
  • 63.5 cup all-purpose flour(440g)
  • 70.5 cup mild cheddar cheese(56g)
  • 80.5 cup mozzarella cheese(56g)
  • 90.5 cup gouda cheese(56g)
  • 103 tablespoon butter(42g)
  • 112 clove garlic (minced)(6g)

Instructions

  1. 1In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Whisk together and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2Add salt and olive oil to the yeast mixture.
  3. 3Gradually add flour, mixing until a sticky dough forms. Add a little more flour if needed.
  4. 4Grease a bowl, place the dough in it, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  6. 6Sprinkle the surface with mild cheddar, mozzarella, and gouda cheese.
  7. 7Pat the cheese into the dough, then cut the dough into strips and roll each strip up.
  8. 8Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet.
  9. 9Melt butter and mix with minced garlic to make garlic butter. Brush some of the garlic butter over the rolls.
  10. 10Sprinkle a little more cheese on top of the rolls.
  11. 11Let the rolls rest for 10 minutes while the oven preheats to 400°F (200°C).
  12. 12Bake the rolls for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  13. 13Remove from oven, brush with remaining garlic butter, and serve warm.
