Ingredients

  • 18 ounce fettuccine pasta(227g)
  • 24 tablespoon butter(57g)
  • 31 cup grated Parmesan cheese(100g)
  • 40.5 cup pasta cooking water(120g)
  • 50.25 teaspoon black pepper(0.5g)

Instructions

  1. 1Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. 2Add the fettuccine pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
  3. 3While the pasta cooks, place the butter in a large serving dish and flatten it.
  4. 4Once the pasta is cooked, reserve about half a cup of the pasta cooking water.
  5. 5Drain the pasta and immediately place it on top of the butter in the serving dish.
  6. 6Add half of the grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
  7. 7Pour in some of the reserved pasta water and continue mixing until the sauce is creamy and coats the pasta.
  8. 8Top with black pepper and the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  9. 9Serve immediately.
