Cottage Cheese Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 cup All-purpose flour(250g)
- 21 teaspoon Baking soda(5g)
- 30.5 teaspoon Salt(3g)
- 40.5 cup Unsalted butter(113g)
- 50.75 cup Brown sugar(150g)
- 60.25 cup Granulated sugar(50g)
- 71 Egg(50g)
- 81 teaspoon Vanilla extract(5g)
- 90.75 cup Cottage cheese(170g)
- 101 cup Chocolate chunks(170g)
- 110.5 teaspoon Flaky sea salt(2g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 3In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- 4Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- 5Blend the cottage cheese until smooth, then add to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- 6Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- 7Fold in the chocolate chunks.
- 8Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
- 9Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are still soft.
- 10Immediately after removing from the oven, shape the cookies with a round cutter or spoon for perfect edges.
- 11Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while still warm.
- 12Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
