Crispy Baked Beef and Cheese Taquitos
Ingredients
- 11 lb ground beef(454g)
- 21 packet dry taco seasoning(28g)
- 30.25 cup water(60g)
- 48 flour tortillas(320g)
- 52 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese(224g)
- 62 tablespoon melted butter(28g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain the grease.
- 3Add the dry taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer until the mixture thickens.
- 4Lay out the flour tortillas. Spoon a line of the beef mixture and shredded cheese down the center of each tortilla.
- 5Roll up each tortilla tightly and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- 6Brush the tops of the taquitos with melted butter.
- 7Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the shells are firm and crunchy.
- 8Serve hot.
