Savory Cherry Tomato and Burrata Tart
Ingredients
- 16 Cherry tomatoes(90g)
- 21 tablespoon Olive oil(13.5g)
- 31 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar(16g)
- 41 teaspoon Italian spice mix(2g)
- 51 sheet Shortcrust or puff pastry(120g)
- 660 g Burrata cheese(60g)
- 75 leaves Basil(2g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
- 2Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar onto a baking dish or tart pan.
- 3Sprinkle Italian spice mix evenly over the oil and vinegar.
- 4Arrange the cherry tomatoes on top.
- 5Cover the tomatoes with a sheet of shortcrust or puff pastry, tucking the edges in.
- 6Poke the pastry with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- 7Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden and crisp.
- 8Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- 9Invert the tart onto a plate so the tomatoes are on top.
- 10Top with burrata cheese and fresh basil leaves before serving.
