Cheesy Taco Taquito Casserole
Ingredients
- 11 pound ground beef(454g)
- 21 packet taco seasoning(28g)
- 312 ounce queso dip(340g)
- 420 ounce red enchilada sauce(567g)
- 516 frozen chicken taquitos(800g)
- 62 cup shredded cheese (jalapeno cheddar or similar)(224g)
- 71 bag chili cheese Fritos(255g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until it gets some color. Flip and cook through.
- 3Add taco seasoning to the beef and mix well. Set aside.
- 4Warm the queso dip until creamy and set aside.
- 5Pour a layer of red enchilada sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 inch (deep dish) baking dish.
- 6Arrange 8 frozen chicken taquitos across the dish, then gently fit 8 more on top or beside them.
- 7Pour more enchilada sauce over the taquitos.
- 8Spread the cooked taco meat evenly over the taquitos.
- 9Pour the queso dip over the meat layer.
- 10Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- 11Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- 12Remove from oven and, if desired, blot excess grease from the top.
- 13Top the casserole with the entire bag of chili cheese Fritos.
- 14Serve hot.
