Christmas Chocolate Cake in a Jar
Ingredients
- 11 egg(60g)
- 22 tablespoon sugar(25g)
- 33 tablespoon milk(45g)
- 43 tablespoon vegetable oil(36g)
- 53 tablespoon flour(24g)
- 61 teaspoon cocoa powder(2.5g)
- 71 teaspoon baking powder(4g)
- 81 pinch salt(0.5g)
- 915 g milk chocolate pieces(15g)
- 102 tablespoon milk (for soaking)(30g)
- 1115 g melted milk chocolate (for glaze)(15g)
- 125 g Christmas decorations (sugar stars, colored pearls, glitter, etc.)(5g)
Instructions
- 1Mix the batter directly in a 420 ml jar.
- 2Add the egg, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and milk chocolate pieces to the jar and stir until smooth.
- 3Screw the lid onto the jar.
- 4Prepare a water bath by lining a pot with a towel, placing the jar inside, and filling the pot halfway with hot water.
- 5Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover the pot, and cook the cake in the water bath for 30–35 minutes.
- 6Test the cake with a toothpick to check for doneness.
- 7While still warm, soak the cake with milk.
- 8Cover with melted milk chocolate and decorate festively with Christmas decorations.
