- 12 sheet puff pastry(500g)
- 2150 g garlic and herb cream cheese(150g)
- 3120 g smoked salmon(120g)
- 41 teaspoon lemon zest(2g)
- 51 egg yolk(18g)
- 620 g parmesan cheese(20g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
- 2Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- 3Spread the garlic and herb cream cheese evenly over the pastry.
- 4Lay the smoked salmon slices on top of the cheese.
- 5Sprinkle lemon zest over the salmon.
- 6Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry and gently roll to seal.
- 7Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out stars from the layered pastry.
- 8Arrange the stars in a circle on the baking tray to form a crown shape.
- 9Beat the egg yolk and brush it over the pastry stars.
- 10Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
- 11Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- 12Let cool slightly before serving.
