Whipped Cream Frosting with Gelatin
Ingredients
- 11.5 tablespoon flavored gelatin powder(15g)
- 21.5 tablespoon water(22g)
- 31 cup heavy whipping cream(240g)
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, combine 1.5 tablespoons of flavored gelatin powder with 1.5 tablespoons of water. Mix well.
- 2Microwave the mixture for 30 seconds until dissolved.
- 3Let the gelatin mixture cool for 10 minutes.
- 4Meanwhile, in a mixer, beat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream until it is still slightly runny.
- 5Gradually add the cooled gelatin mixture to the cream while mixing.
- 6Continue beating for about 2 minutes until the frosting is thick and smooth.
- 7Use immediately to frost cakes or cupcakes.
