Ingredients

  • 10.5 cup vegetable oil(110g)
  • 28 clove fresh garlic, minced(24g)
  • 32 tablespoon red chili flakes(12g)
  • 42 tablespoon dried minced garlic(12g)
  • 52 tablespoon dried chopped onion(10g)
  • 62 teaspoon sugar(8g)
  • 71 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds(3g)
  • 81 teaspoon kosher salt(6g)
  • 91 teaspoon smoked paprika(2g)
  • 101 teaspoon cayenne pepper(2g)
  • 112 teaspoon soy sauce(10g)

Instructions

  1. 1Mince or slice the fresh garlic cloves to your preferred size.
  2. 2Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. 3Add the minced fresh garlic to the hot oil and cook for about 1 minute, stirring, until just lightly golden (do not let it brown).
  4. 4Remove the pan from heat.
  5. 5Stir in the red chili flakes, dried minced garlic, dried chopped onion, sugar, toasted sesame seeds, kosher salt, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and soy sauce.
  6. 6Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  7. 7Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  8. 8Transfer to a clean jar or container and store in the refrigerator.
