Ingredients

  • 12.25 cup all-purpose flour(281g)
  • 21 teaspoon baking soda(5g)
  • 31 teaspoon salt(6g)
  • 41 cup butter, softened(227g)
  • 50.75 cup granulated sugar(150g)
  • 60.75 cup brown sugar, packed(165g)
  • 71 teaspoon vanilla extract(4g)
  • 82 large eggs(100g)
  • 92 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips(340g)
  • 101 cup chopped nuts (optional)(120g)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  4. 4Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. 5Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
  6. 6Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
  7. 7Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
