Ingredients
- 12 plain bagels(180g)
- 2120 g pizza sauce or marinara(120g)
- 3120 g mozzarella cheese, shredded(120g)
- 440 g pepperoni(40g)
- 55 g Italian seasoning(5g)
- 65 g garlic powder(5g)
- 71 g red pepper flakes(1g)
- 85 g fresh parsley, chopped(5g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Place bagel halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly toast in the oven for 3-4 minutes until slightly crispy.
- 3Spread 30g (2 tbsp) pizza sauce evenly on each bagel half. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder if using.
- 4Top each bagel half with 30g (⅓ cup) shredded mozzarella cheese, then arrange pepperoni slices on top.
- 5Return to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and beginning to brown at the edges.
- 6Remove from oven, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and fresh parsley if desired. Let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
