Mexican Meatballs with Chipotle
Ingredients
- 1500 g ground beef(500g)
- 22 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce(30g)
- 30.5 cup white rice(90g)
- 41 egg(50g)
- 50.5 onion(60g)
- 62 garlic clove(10g)
- 71 cup tomato sauce(240g)
- 81 teaspoon salt(6g)
- 90.5 teaspoon black pepper(2g)
- 102 tablespoon vegetable oil(28g)
Instructions
- 1Cook the white rice and set aside to cool.
- 2In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- 3Form the mixture into small meatballs.
- 4Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- 5Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- 6Blend chipotle peppers with tomato sauce until smooth.
- 7Pour the chipotle-tomato sauce over the meatballs in the skillet.
- 8Simmer for 15-20 minutes until meatballs are cooked through and sauce thickens.
- 9Serve hot with additional white rice if desired.
