Ingredients

  • 13 can canned beans(1200g)
  • 20.5 cup stock (any type)(120g)
  • 32 tablespoon seed oil (or lard)(28g)
  • 41 onion(120g)
  • 51 tablespoon garlic paste(15g)
  • 61 teaspoon ground cumin(2g)

Instructions

  1. 1Drain three cans of beans and set aside.
  2. 2Heat seed oil (or lard) in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3Add chopped onion and cook for about 2 minutes until translucent.
  4. 4Stir in garlic paste and cook for another minute.
  5. 5Add ground cumin and cook for 30 seconds to bloom the spice.
  6. 6Pour in the drained beans and stock.
  7. 7Simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  8. 8Mash the beans with a spoon or potato masher for a smoother texture, if desired.
  9. 9Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve warm.
