- 14 cup all-purpose flour(500g)
- 21.5 cup warm water(360g)
- 32.25 teaspoon active dry yeast(7g)
- 43 tablespoon olive oil(40g)
- 51 tablespoon sugar(12g)
- 62 teaspoon salt(12g)
- 72 cup tomato sauce(480g)
- 82 cup shredded mozzarella cheese(200g)
- 90.5 cup grated parmesan cheese(50g)
- 101 teaspoon dried oregano(1g)
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- 2Add flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- 3Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
- 4Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- 5Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- 6Grease a rectangular baking pan with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Stretch the dough to fit the pan.
- 7Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- 8Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the sauce. Top with dried oregano.
- 9Let the dough rest in the pan for 20 minutes.
- 10Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- 11Let cool slightly, slice, and serve.
