Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2Add eggs, melted butter, vanilla, red velvet gel food coloring, and brown sugar. Mix well.
  3. 3Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

  7. 7Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon powder for filling.
