- 1200 g dark chocolate(200g)
- 20.5 cup butter(115g)
- 30.5 cup sugar(100g)
- 40.5 cup brown sugar(100g)
- 53 eggs(150g)
- 60.25 teaspoon salt(1.5g)
- 71 teaspoon vanilla extract(4g)
- 80.5 cup all-purpose flour(75g)
- 90.25 cup cocoa powder(35g)
- 100.5 cup dark chocolate chunks(80g)
- 110.5 cup nuts (optional)(60g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 175°C (347°F). Grease and line an 8x8 inch baking tin.
- 2Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Let cool slightly.
- 3In a large bowl, beat the sugar, brown sugar, and eggs together until pale and doubled in volume.
- 4Add salt and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and mix well.
- 5Fold in the melted chocolate and butter mixture until just combined.
- 6Sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Gently fold into the batter until just combined.
- 7Fold in dark chocolate chunks and nuts if using.
- 8Pour the batter into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
- 9Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 10Allow brownies to cool completely in the tin. For best results, refrigerate before cutting into squares.
