Salisbury Steak with Onion Gravy

- 12 lb Ground beef(907g)
- 21 packet Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix(40g)
- 30.5 cup Breadcrumbs(60g)
- 41 Egg(50g)
- 50.25 cup Worcestershire sauce(60g)
- 61 teaspoon Garlic paste(5g)
- 71 teaspoon Onion powder(3g)
- 81 teaspoon Garlic powder(3g)
- 92 tablespoon Butter(28g)
- 101 Onion(110g)
- 111 Green bell pepper(120g)
- 120.25 cup Flour(30g)
- 131 cup Beef broth(240g)
- 141 cup Water(240g)
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic paste, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- 2Mix until well combined and shape into 8-10 burger patties.
- 3Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and sear until browned on both sides. Remove patties and set aside.
- 4In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced onion (and green bell pepper if using) and sauté until soft.
- 5Sprinkle flour over the onions and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 6Gradually whisk in beef broth and water, stirring until smooth and thickened.
- 7Return the patties and any juices to the skillet. Simmer in the gravy on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- 8Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice.
