Ingredients

  • 13.5 ripe bananas(420g)
  • 20.75 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate(135g)
  • 31 teaspoon coconut oil(4.5g)

Instructions

  1. 1Slice the bananas into small rounds and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. 2Freeze the banana slices until solid.
  3. 3Transfer the frozen banana slices to a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed, until it reaches an ice cream-like consistency.
  4. 4Spoon the banana mixture into ice cream molds, pressing down gently to remove air pockets.
  5. 5Freeze the molds until solid.
  6. 6In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil (if using), stirring until smooth.
  7. 7Remove pops from molds. Dip each pop into the melted chocolate.
  8. 8Place dipped pops back on the parchment-lined sheet. Freeze again if desired until the chocolate is fully set.
  9. 9Serve straight from the freezer for the best texture.
