Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet
Ingredients
- 1250 g Sirloin or flank steak(250g)
- 231 ml Olive oil(28g)
- 30.5 teaspoon Salt(3g)
- 40.25 teaspoon Black pepper(0.5g)
- 52 teaspoon Chopped parsley(2g)
- 6300 g Baby potatoes(300g)
- 722 g Unsalted butter(22g)
- 82 clove Garlic(6g)
- 90.25 teaspoon Dried thyme(0.2g)
- 101 to taste Salt (for garnish)(1g)
Instructions
- 1Boil halved potatoes for 8 minutes until just tender. Drain and pat dry.
- 2Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sauté potatoes cut-side down for 6–8 minutes until golden.
- 3Add butter, garlic, and thyme. Stir gently until garlic is fragrant and butter coats potatoes evenly. Transfer to a bowl.
- 4Season steak strips with salt and pepper.
- 5In the same skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to preferred doneness.
- 6Return potatoes to skillet. Toss briefly with steak and garlic butter.
- 7Sprinkle chopped parsley over top. Serve immediately.
