Instructions

  1. 1Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces and process in a food processor until ground.
  2. 2Season the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well.
  3. 3Form the chicken mixture into 4 large patties. Flatten them slightly.
  4. 4Place the patties on a tray and freeze for 1.5 hours.
  5. 5In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder (for breading), onion powder (for breading), black pepper (for breading), paprika (for breading), and cayenne pepper.
  6. 6Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
  7. 7Dip each frozen chicken patty first in the beaten eggs, then coat with the flour mixture.
  8. 8Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  9. 9Fry the breaded chicken patties until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  10. 10Slice the lettuce and tomato.
  11. 11Toast the burger buns.
