Homemade McChicken Sandwich

- 12 chicken breast(400g)
- 21 tablespoon garlic powder(8g)
- 31 tablespoon onion powder(8g)
- 42 teaspoon paprika(4g)
- 51 teaspoon black pepper(2g)

- 71 tablespoon ketchup(17g)
- 81 teaspoon mustard(5g)
- 91 cup all-purpose flour(120g)
- 100.5 cup cornstarch(60g)
- 111 teaspoon baking powder(4g)
- 121 teaspoon garlic powder (for breading)(3g)
- 131 teaspoon onion powder (for breading)(3g)
- 141 teaspoon black pepper (for breading)(2g)
- 152 teaspoon paprika (for breading)(4g)
- 161 teaspoon cayenne pepper(2g)
- 172 eggs(100g)
- 182 cup vegetable oil(480g)
- 191 cup lettuce(50g)
- 201 tomato(100g)
- 214 burger buns(200g)
- 224 tablespoon mayonnaise(60g)
Instructions
- 1Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces and process in a food processor until ground.
- 2Season the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well.
- 3Form the chicken mixture into 4 large patties. Flatten them slightly.
- 4Place the patties on a tray and freeze for 1.5 hours.
- 5In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder (for breading), onion powder (for breading), black pepper (for breading), paprika (for breading), and cayenne pepper.
- 6Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- 7Dip each frozen chicken patty first in the beaten eggs, then coat with the flour mixture.
- 8Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 9Fry the breaded chicken patties until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- 10Slice the lettuce and tomato.
- 11Toast the burger buns.
- 12Assemble the sandwiches: Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add lettuce, tomato, a fried chicken patty, and top with the other half of the bun.
