  • 12 lb beef chuck roast(907g)
  • 21 tablespoon olive oil(13.5g)
  • 31 onion(110g)
  • 42 carrots(120g)
  • 52 stalk celery(80g)
  • 63 clove garlic(9g)
  • 72 cup beef broth(480g)
  • 814 oz crushed tomatoes(397g)
  • 91 teaspoon dried rosemary(1g)
  • 101 teaspoon dried thyme(1g)
  • 111 teaspoon salt(6g)
  • 120.5 teaspoon black pepper(1g)
  • 132 tablespoon fresh parsley(8g)

Instructions

  1. 1Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. 2Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Sear the beef in the pot until browned on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. 4Add chopped onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Return the beef to the pot. Add beef broth, crushed tomatoes, dried rosemary, and dried thyme.
