Ingredients
- 11 sheet puff pastry dough(250g)
- 2200 g cream cheese(200g)
- 350 g walnuts, ground(50g)
- 41 apple, diced(150g)
- 52 tablespoon powdered sugar(16g)
- 62 tablespoon honey(42g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- 2Roll out the puff pastry sheet.
- 3Spread cream cheese evenly over the entire surface of the dough.
- 4Sprinkle ground walnuts over one section, and diced apple over another section.
- 5Fold the dough in half.
- 6Cut the dough into strips to make about 14 small pieces.
- 7Twist each strip and shape into a knot or rose shape, tucking the end underneath.
- 8Place the knots on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- 9Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- 10For the apple knots, dust with powdered sugar after baking.
- 11Brush all knots with honey while still warm for shine and moisture.
