Ingredients

  • 12 piece steak(400g)
  • 23 piece potatoes(600g)
  • 32 tablespoon olive oil(27g)
  • 41 teaspoon salt(6g)
  • 50.5 teaspoon black pepper(1g)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. 2Cut the potatoes into thin strips to make fries.
  3. 3Toss the potato strips with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, half the salt, and half the pepper.
  4. 4Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
  5. 5Season the steaks with the remaining salt and pepper.
  6. 6Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. 7Cook the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
  8. 8Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.
  9. 9Serve the steaks with the fries.
