  • 13.5 lb beef brisket(1588g)
  • 21 tablespoon olive oil(13.5g)
  • 31 teaspoon salt(6g)
  • 40.5 teaspoon black pepper(1g)
  • 51.5 cup BBQ sauce(360g)
  • 60.25 cup beef broth(60g)
  • 72 tablespoon brown sugar(24g)
  • 81 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce(15g)
  • 91 teaspoon smoked paprika(2.3g)
  • 101 teaspoon garlic powder(3g)
  • 110.5 teaspoon onion powder(1.5g)

Instructions

  1. 1Season brisket generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.
  2. 2Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3Sear brisket for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. 4Place the brisket into the slow cooker.
  5. 5In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. 6Pour the sauce over the brisket, coating it well.
