- 1520 g flour(520g)
- 23 g salt(3g)
- 33 g baking powder(3g)
- 430 g oil(30g)
- 5300 ml water(300g)
Instructions
- 1Add flour, salt, baking powder, and oil into a bowl. Mix everything together.
- 2Gradually add the water while mixing until the dough becomes soft, smooth, and not sticky.
- 3Cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour.
- 4Divide the dough into balls, about 85–90 g each.
- 5Roll each ball into a tortilla shape.
- 6Cook each tortilla on a lightly oiled, preheated pan for 25–30 seconds on the first side and about 15 seconds on the second side.
- 7As soon as each tortilla is cooked, place it immediately into a clean kitchen towel and wrap it to keep them soft and flexible.
- 8Let tortillas cool completely before storing in an airtight plastic bag or wrapping tightly in plastic wrap to keep them soft.
