Ingredients

  • 11 cup coconut sugar(200g)
  • 21 cup filtered water(240g)
  • 31 strip orange rind(5g)
  • 41 strip lemon rind(5g)
  • 51 strip lime rind(5g)
  • 62 stick cinnamon sticks(10g)
  • 73 dash coriander(1g)
  • 82 dash nutmeg(1g)
  • 93 tablespoon tart cherry juice(45g)
  • 101 sparkling water(180g)

Instructions

  1. 1Add coconut sugar to a pot over low to medium heat and stir frequently until sticky, about 10 minutes.
  2. 2Add filtered water and stir to combine.
  3. 3Add orange rind, lemon rind, lime rind, cinnamon sticks, coriander, and nutmeg. Stir and increase heat to medium until it reaches a low boil.
  4. 4Reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5Strain the syrup and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  6. 6To make Cherry Coke: Add 3 tablespoons cola syrup and 3 tablespoons tart cherry juice over ice in a 12 oz glass.
  7. 7Top with sparkling water and adjust to taste.
