Crockpot Salsa Chicken & Rice
Ingredients
- 12 lb chicken breast(907g)
- 21 packet taco seasoning(28g)
- 316 oz salsa(454g)
- 41.5 cup white or brown rice(285g)
- 53 cup chicken broth(720g)
Instructions
- 1Trim any visible fat from the chicken breasts.
- 2Add chicken breasts, taco seasoning, salsa, rice, and chicken broth to the crockpot.
- 3Stir all ingredients together.
- 4Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
- 5Shred the chicken using two forks.
- 6Gently stir everything together to combine.
- 7Serve with optional toppings such as shredded cheddar cheese, cilantro, plain Greek yogurt or sour cream, lime, and hot sauce.
