Ingredients

  • 12 lb chicken breast(907g)
  • 21 packet taco seasoning(28g)
  • 316 oz salsa(454g)
  • 41.5 cup white or brown rice(285g)
  • 53 cup chicken broth(720g)

Instructions

  1. 1Trim any visible fat from the chicken breasts.
  2. 2Add chicken breasts, taco seasoning, salsa, rice, and chicken broth to the crockpot.
  3. 3Stir all ingredients together.
  4. 4Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
  5. 5Shred the chicken using two forks.
  6. 6Gently stir everything together to combine.
  7. 7Serve with optional toppings such as shredded cheddar cheese, cilantro, plain Greek yogurt or sour cream, lime, and hot sauce.
