Ingredients

  • 12 cup jasmine rice(380g)
  • 20.33 stick butter(38g)
  • 31 packet rice seasoning (for white rice, contains salt, garlic, onion)(10g)
  • 42 garlic cloves(6g)
  • 50.25 onion(30g)
  • 61 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., corn, peas, carrots)(130g)
  • 74.5 cup water(1080g)

Instructions

  1. 1Heat a pot over medium heat and add the butter to melt.
  2. 2Add the jasmine rice and sauté gently, stirring until the color changes slightly but does not brown.
  3. 3In a blender, combine the rice seasoning packet, garlic cloves, onion, and half a cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  4. 4Pour the blended mixture into the rice and stir well.
  5. 5Add the remaining water to the pot and stir.
  6. 6Add the mixed vegetables of your choice (such as corn, peas, or carrots).
  7. 7Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot and reduce the heat to low.
  8. 8Cook for about 15 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
  9. 9Turn off the heat and let the rice rest, covered, for another 10 minutes to allow it to fluff up.
  10. 10Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
