Ingredients

  • 10.5 pound country ham(227g)
  • 26 cup water(1420g)
  • 31 onion(110g)
  • 42 pound frozen butter beans (baby lima beans)(907g)
  • 51 sheet store-bought pie dough(230g)
  • 60.5 teaspoon black pepper(1g)

Instructions

  1. 1Place the country ham in a large pot and cover with water. Add the onion.
  2. 2Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes to make a stock.
  3. 3Add the frozen butter beans to the pot.
  4. 4Cook until the beans are very tender, about 30-40 minutes.
  5. 5Cut the store-bought pie dough into strips.
  6. 6Drop the dough strips into the pot and stir.
  7. 7Lightly mash some of the beans to make the mixture creamy.
  8. 8Continue to cook for another 10 minutes until the dough is cooked through.
  9. 9Season with cracked black pepper to taste.
  10. 10Serve hot.
