Butter Cookies with Toppings
Ingredients
- 1250 g butter (with salt)(250g)
- 2100 g brown sugar(100g)
- 3200 g white sugar(200g)
- 4525 g flour(525g)
- 55 g baking powder(5g)
- 65 g baking soda(5g)
- 72 eggs(100g)
- 850 g toppings of choice(50g)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- 2In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- 4In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- 5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- 6Fold in your desired toppings.
- 7Scoop portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 8Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- 9Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
