Ingredients

  • 1800 g potatoes(800g)
  • 21 head garlic(40g)
  • 33 tablespoon unsalted butter(42g)
  • 40.5 cup milk(120g)
  • 51 teaspoon salt(6g)
  • 60.25 teaspoon black pepper(0.5g)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. 2Cut the top off the head of garlic, drizzle with a little oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-40 minutes until soft.
  3. 3Peel and chop potatoes, then boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. 4Drain potatoes and return to the pot.
  5. 5Squeeze roasted garlic cloves out of the skins and add to the potatoes.
  6. 6Add butter and milk, then mash until smooth.
  7. 7Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
