Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes until soft.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart into small crumbles with a spatula as it cooks.
Season the meat evenly with the taco seasoning, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper, cooking for 5-6 minutes until fully browned.
Drain any excess grease from the skillet, stir in the black beans, and remove the seasoned beef mixture from the heat.
Spread the Nacho Cheese Doritos out in a generous, overlapping single layer across the prepared baking sheet.
Spoon the warm seasoned ground beef and black bean mixture evenly over the top of the Doritos.
Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend evenly over the beef layer to cover the nachos.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until the shredded cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, drizzle with warm liquid nacho cheese and sour cream, then scatter diced tomatoes, jalapeños, and fresh cilantro over the top before serving immediately.
