Pull Apart Garlic Cheese Bread
Ingredients
- 14 cup all-purpose flour(500g)
- 210 ounce warm water(295g)
- 32 tablespoon vegetable oil(28g)
- 43 tablespoon sugar(38g)
- 51 teaspoon salt(6g)
- 61 tablespoon active dry yeast(9g)
- 73 tablespoon garlic butter(42g)
- 81.5 cup mozzarella cheese(170g)
- 91 tablespoon basil(2g)
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
- 2Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
- 3Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 3-4 minutes until smooth.
- 4Divide the dough in half. Use one half for the bread and reserve the other half for another use.
- 5Roll out the dough with a rolling pin until thin.
- 6Spread garlic butter evenly over the dough.
- 7Sprinkle basil and mozzarella cheese over the top.
- 8Cut the dough into strips, stack the strips, and cut again into smaller pieces.
- 9Arrange the pieces in a greased or parchment-lined baking pan.
- 10Let the dough rest until it doubles in size.
- 11Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 12Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- 13Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
