Instructions
- 1Warm the milk and melt the butter. Combine with sugar and yeast in a large bowl. Let sit until foamy.
- 2Add eggs and salt, then gradually mix in flour to form a dough.
- 3Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- 4Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- 5Roll up the dough tightly and slice into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
- 6Cover and refrigerate overnight if making ahead, or let rise for 30-45 minutes if baking immediately.
- 7Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- 8For the icing, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- 9Spread icing over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
