Instructions
- 1Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) or oven to the same temperature.
- 2In a medium bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 3Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour mixture, beaten eggs, and Panko breadcrumbs.
- 4Dredge each chicken strip in the flour, dip into the egg wash, and then press firmly into the Panko until fully coated.
- 5Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with oil.
- 6Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
- 7While the chicken cooks, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, melted butter, chili flakes, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
- 8Once the chicken is done, place the hot tenders in a large mixing bowl and pour the hot honey glaze over them.
- 9Gently toss the tenders until every piece is thoroughly and evenly coated in the sticky sauce.
- 10Arrange on a platter and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped chives before serving immediately.
