Homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs
Ingredients
- 10.5 cup peanut butter(130g)
- 24 tablespoon unsalted butter (softened)(56g)
- 31.5 cup powdered sugar(180g)
- 41 teaspoon vanilla extract(4g)
- 52 cup milk chocolate(340g)
Instructions
- 1In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and softened unsalted butter.
- 2Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl.
- 3Mix until the mixture is fully combined and forms a dough.
- 4Take a portion of the dough and shape it into an egg shape, flattening to your desired thickness.
- 5Place shaped eggs on a pan lined with parchment paper.
- 6Repeat with the remaining dough.
- 7Freeze the shaped eggs for about 2 hours until firm.
- 8Melt the milk chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- 9Dip each frozen peanut butter egg into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- 10Place dipped eggs back on the parchment-lined pan.
- 11Optional: Drizzle extra chocolate on top for decoration.
- 12Freeze the eggs for another 10 minutes to set the chocolate.
- 13Once set, remove from freezer and enjoy.
