Soft Homemade Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
- 11 cup warm milk(240g)
- 22.5 teaspoon active dry yeast(8g)
- 32 tablespoon sugar(25g)
- 44 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted(56g)
- 51 egg(50g)
- 61 teaspoon salt(6g)
- 73.25 cup all purpose flour(406g)
- 81 tablespoon butter, for brushing(14g)
Instructions
- 1In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
- 2Add sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix to combine.
- 3Slowly add all purpose flour, mixing with a dough hook until a soft dough forms.
- 4Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 5Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Divide into 12 equal pieces.
- 6Shape each piece into a ball by folding over the edges and rolling.
- 7Place dough balls in a greased baking dish.
- 8Cover and let rise for 30 minutes until puffy.
- 9Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 10Bake rolls for 15 minutes until golden brown.
- 11Brush tops with melted butter while still warm.
- 12Serve warm.
