Ingredients

  • 11 cup warm milk(240g)
  • 22.5 teaspoon active dry yeast(8g)
  • 32 tablespoon sugar(25g)
  • 44 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted(56g)
  • 51 egg(50g)
  • 61 teaspoon salt(6g)
  • 73.25 cup all purpose flour(406g)
  • 81 tablespoon butter, for brushing(14g)

Instructions

  1. 1In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2Add sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix to combine.
  3. 3Slowly add all purpose flour, mixing with a dough hook until a soft dough forms.
  4. 4Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Divide into 12 equal pieces.
