- 40.25 cup soy sauce(60g)
- 52 clove garlic, minced(6g)
- 61 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced(5g)
- 71 tablespoon arrowroot starch(8g)
- 81 tablespoon water (for slurry)(15g)
- 90.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes(0.5g)
- 102 tablespoon green onion, sliced(8g)
- 111 teaspoon sesame seeds(3g)
- 122 cup white rice, cooked(340g)
Instructions
- 1Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through.
- 2Drain excess fat if necessary.
- 3Add minced garlic, minced ginger, and brown sugar to the beef. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4Pour in the soy sauce and hot water. Stir to combine.
- 5In a small bowl, mix arrowroot starch with 1 tablespoon water to make a slurry.
- 6Add the slurry to the skillet and stir well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 7Season with red pepper flakes to taste.
- 8Serve the Mongolian beef mixture over cooked white rice.
- 9Garnish with sliced green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
